bentuk kalimat yang menyatakan keinginan atau harapan .
A . Present Subjunctive
>> ungkapan-ungkapan berupa harapan atau keinginan akan terjadi pada masa kini dan yang akan datang .
Example :
May be marry with you
B . Past Subjunctive
>> menyatakan harapan / keinginan yang tidak terjadi saat ini .
1 . Wish
Example :
(+) I wish I were lucky
(-) I am not lucky

2 . Would rather
Example :
(+) They would rather
(-) they are having their test right now

3 . If only
Example:
(+) If only he were my brother, a’m happy
(-) He is not my brother

4 . As if / As though
example :
(+) He walk as a ghost
(-) He is not a ghost
C . Past Perfect Subjunctive
>> menyatakan harapan atau keinginan yang tidak terwujud pada masa lampau .
1 . Wish
example :
(+) We wished we had gone to the cinema last night
(-) We didn’t go there last night

2 . Would rather
Example :
(+) if i would reather healthy, a want go to Surabaya
(-) i’m not healthy

3 . If only
Example :
(+) If only you at school last Friday, you will get a present
(-) You were not at school

4 . As if/as though
(+) He talked as if he had ever gone to jogja before
(-) He never went to jogja before )



Conditional
>> Bentuk kalimat bersyarat ataupun pengandaian .
A . Open Conditional
>> jenis kalimat conditional yang masih terbuka kemungkinan untuk terjadi bila syarat terpenuhi
The formula :
If +Simple Present , Present Future
Example :
If I have enough time, I will be traveling to Jogja
B . Improbable Conditional
>> jenis kalimat conditional yang syaratnya tidak dapat terpenuhi dimasa sekarang
The formula :
If + Simple Past , Past Future
Example :
They would traveling to Bali if they have free time
C . Impossible conditional
>> jenis kalimat conditional yang syaratnya tidak terpanuhi dimasa lampau.
The formula :
If + Past Perfect, Past Future Perfect
Example :
he would not have been come, if he know like this
